FCCI demands facilities for industrialists

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Augst,2016) : Syed Zia Alamdar Husssain, senior vice president (SVP), Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), here on Monday demanded steps to facilitate industrialists to enable them to run their units at full capacity.

In a statement issued here, he said that industrial sector in Punjab was working with only 50-55% of its installed capacity due to international recession and internal problems. He said that unutilised capacity of the industrial units was actually a national loss and the government, in collaboration with the Punjab board of Investment and Trade (PBIT), should convince foreign investors to introduce new, latest and modern technologies to enable these units to fully utilise their installed capacity.
