Four civilians were killed and over a dozen wounded when Indian police and troops opened fire on protesters at Aripanthan in Beerwah area of Budgam district, KMS reported. A 10th class student, Muhammad Yasir Sheikh, was killed after Indian police directly fired upon demonstrators in Batamaloo area of Srinagar.
