Governor Punjab Hosts Iftar Dinner To Railway Employees

Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar Saturday hosted an Iftaar dinner to more than five thousand labourers, workers and staff of Pakistan Railways at the lawns of Governor House
Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad also attended the the Iftaar dinner.
Governor Punjab Muhammad Sarwar, speaking on the occasion, said all these Iftaar dinners were being arranged at his personal expense. Not even a single penny from public exchequer was being spent on them, adding the doors of Governor House were open for allas per the vision of Imran Khan.
Sarwar said those talking of launching protest against the government had already broken all records of corruption and bad governance during their regimes.
Governor Punjab said politics of PM Imran khan was based on integrity and honesty, adding the political history of the country had never seen an honest leader like Imran Khan.
He said PTI would succeed in creating a single nation and diminishing the gap between the rich and poor under the visionary leadership of PM Imran Khan.
The governor Punjab further said the previous governments primarily focused on cosmetic development to distract people from their actual problems and also plundered the wealth of this nation with both hands which left this country far behind in progress and prosperity.
He said bad times often bring out the best part of us, therefore, people should not lose hope in Imran Khan, he added.
He said the government must be given time to bring about structural changes in the system for the benefit of the common people.
Earlier, Governor Punjab Ch. Muhammad Sarwar and Federal Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad also attended the funeral prayer of the son of PPP Punjab President Qamar Zaman Qaira who died in a road accident on Friday. Both the leaders paid their condolences to the bereaved family.
Later, Governor Punjab Ch. Muhammad Sarwar also met Provincial Minister Abdul Aleem Khan and congratulated him on his release on bail.
Both the leaders discussed current political situation in the province.
