HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Jul, 2025) The Hyderabad Police have arrested a gang of women involved in large-scale financial fraud through fake bank accounts.
The Naseem Nagar Checkpost Police, acting on a tip-off from private bank staff, arrested three women, including Nasreen Khan, Parveen Kanpuri and Nosheen Siddiqui, who were part of the fraud ring.
According to a police spokesperson, the arrested women were found to be involved in opening bank accounts using fake identity cards and committing fraud worth millions of rupees.
The initial investigations revealed that arrested women are also involved in fraud cases involving more than Rs 60 million from various banks in Karachi.
Further investigation is being carried out by the Naseem Nagar Police, and a case has been registered against the arrested suspects.
