Islamabad Police 'missing' CDA Official Takes Into Custody

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Nov, 2018 ) :A team of Islamabad Police on Saturday took an official of Capital Development Authority (CDA) who had gone missing from the Capital as per initial reports but later confirmed his safety through a video message on social media, in custody from Dera Ismael Khan.

According to a police source, the police team took CDA Deputy Director Ayaz Mehsud into custody from the house of his friend, Noor Khan, in Dera Ismail Khan. Medical check-up of CDA's official was also conducted from a government hospital there, and his family members had also been informed about his taking into custody, the source added.

The police source said his friend Noor Khan would be also investigated while legal action would be initiated against Ayaz Mehsud if he was found deliberately involved in the episode.
