Minister for Health, Amir Mehmood Kiyani has urged the national accountability bureau (NAB) to expedite the process of recovering looted money from those committed corruption
The leaders of both the political parties including Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), and Pakistan Muslim League-N, had plundered the national money ruthlessly, he stated while talking to a private news channel.
Both the party leaders including Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif, were also responsible in weakening the economic sector of the country, he added.
The loan taken by the last governments amounting to trillions of rupees were not utilized on public interest projects, he stated.
Amir Kiyani further stated that the PPP and PML-N didn't spend much on improving education, health and others sectors.
The Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), government after coming into power in 2018 elections, had taken concrete measures for streamlining working in the institutions, the minister said.
Replying to a question, he said the elements involved in plundering the national wealth could not defend themselves.
Expressing the hope, the health minister said that PTI leadership and the government was trying their level best to alleviate poverty besides improving the system in all the institutions.
