KP Govt Sets Rs 15 B Tax Target For FY 2018-19

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has set Rs 15 billion tax target for the fiscal year 2018-19 by imposing taxes in different sectors, said the finance bill presented in the provincial assembly here by Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Oct, 2018 ) :The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has set Rs 15 billion tax target for the fiscal year 2018-19 by imposing taxes in different sectors, said the finance bill presented in the provincial assembly here by Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra.
The Finance Bill said that doctors, lawyers, beauty parlors, mechanics of motor vehicles and the persons attached with information technology sector would pay taxes through KP Revenue Authority.
It further said the service providers for different events including container terminals, entertainment services, training centres and others 76 sectors would also give taxes, adding that CT Scan and MRI Centres, Medical Laboratories, sports Gym, Fitness club and contractors would also pay taxes now.
