Legal Fraternity Observes Strike To Condemn Mastung, Bannu Blasts

The legal fraternity on Monday observed strike and boycott of courts' proceedings to condemn and mourn assassination of Siraj Raisani and other innocent people in a suicide blast at election gathering in Mastung and IED blast any convoy of former federal minister Akran Khan Durrani in Bannu.

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Jul, 2018 ) :The legal fraternity on Monday observed strike and boycott of courts' proceedings to condemn and mourn assassination of Siraj Raisani and other innocent people in a suicide blast at election gathering in Mastung and IED blast any convoy of former Federal minister Akran Khan Durrani in Bannu.

The Peshawar High Court Bar Association and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Bar Council have given a call of strike to protest killing of political leaders and innocent people in the brutal attacks. The legal fraternity has demanded of the government to make sure safety of political leaders contesting election and take strict security measures to ensure law and order situation for holding general election.
