MQM-P Files Petition To Probe Rigging On 2 Constituencies

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Sep, 2018 ) :The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has filed a petition against alleged rigging in the July 25 general elections in 2 Constituencies of the Sindh Assembly.

According to a statement issued here Sunday by MQM-P's Hyderabad, the petitions had been filed in Sindh High Court praying the court to order the probe in PS-47 Mirpurkhas and PS-64 Hyderabad constituencies.

The petition has been filed by MQM-P's candidate for PS-47 Mujeebul Haq Ansari and MQM-P's candidate for PS-64 Haji Younus Gaddi through the legal team consisting advocate Dilawar Qureshi, advocate Sabir Hussain and others.

The MQM-P blamed Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for stealing the party's mandate.
