According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Jamhoori Wattan Party candidate won in NA-259 Dera Bugti-Cum-Kohlu-Cum-Barkhan-Cum-Sibi-Cum-Lehri constituency with 22787 votes.

In 2013 general elections, Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party candidate Mehmood Khan Achakzai was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 38552 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Muhammad Qasim Khan Suri who got 16007 votes.

At least 34 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in NA-259. In 2013 elections, there were 264293 voters registered in NA-259, out of which 109903 votes were polled out.
