Ombudsman Punjab, WCCI Host Awareness Seminar

A seminar under the 'Aap Ki Sunwa' awareness campaign was jointly organised by the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WCCI) Multan Division and the Office of the Provincial Ombudsman Punjab here on Thursday

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Jul, 2025) A seminar under the 'Aap Ki Sunwa' awareness campaign was jointly organised by the Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WCCI) Multan Division and the Office of the Provincial Ombudsman Punjab here on Thursday.

The event focused on raising awareness about the process for addressing public complaints against government and private institutions.

Addressing the seminar, Advisor to the Provincial Ombudsman Punjab, Mehmood Javed Bhatti, stated that resolving citizens’ grievances was a top priority. He said that people can register complaints through mobile services and the regional registration office with minimal cost, ensuring that their concerns were thoroughly investigated and addressed transparently.

WCCI Multan Division Secretary General Saeed Altaf Agha highlighted the Chamber's dual role, empowering women entrepreneurs at national and international levels, while also playing a key part in social justice for both men and women.

President of WCCI Multan, Farah Saqib, praised the efforts of the Ombudsman’s Office for providing relief to the underprivileged, while Senior Vice President Nadia Waseem expressed gratitude to Director State Bank of Pakistan Multan, Kiran Amjad, for her support.

The seminar was attended by several notable participants, including Hamza Naeem, Kamil Rizwan, Ayesha Sahiba, Tehmina Muneez, Rabia Khund, Ayesha Yaseen, Shahzana Asif, Filza Mumtaz, Riffat Faisal, Qurat-ul-Ain, Seerat Fatima, Khalida Javed, Asiya Shafi, Sadaf Zahoor, Fauzia Sheikh, Anum Zia, and others.
