Only Rs1966.780 Mln Released For Various Power Projects So Far

Despite hefty allocation of Rs.65,499.807 for various power projects in annual Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for fiscal year 2017-18, the Planning Commission has released mere a 1,966.780 million so far.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Jun, 2018 ) :Despite hefty allocation of Rs.65,499.807 for various power projects in annual Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for fiscal year 2017-18, the Planning Commission has released mere a 1,966.780 million so far.
According to the data of Planning Commission, a sum of Rs397.232 million was released for electrification of union council in NA-50, Rs.229.101 million for electricity schemes in district Mansehra and Abbottabad, Rs.500 million for electrification of various localities of Northern Lahore, Rs.226.210 million for construction of 132 KV Grid Station at Deep Sea Port Gwadar, Rs.90 million for construction of 132 KV Grid Station at Dadar, Rs.27 million for Rehabilitation of 66KV Damaged Grid Station at Ghiljo (Orkazai Agency), Rs.
60 million for Construction of 132-KV G/S at Isplinji District Mastung, Rs.200 million for establishment of 132 KV Grid Station Puran (District Shangla), Rs.137.237 million for Installation of 50 solar tube wells in Balochistan and Rs100 million for supply of electricity to different location of NA-109 (Mandi Bahuddin).
An amount of Rs. 600 million was allocated for Interconnection of Isolated Makran Network at Basima via Nag G/Station from Panjgoor, Rs.250 million for 132-KV T/Line from Golan Gol Project & Grid Station for Provision of Electricity. For Area Distt. Chitral(Now Electrification Works at Different Valleys of District Chitral, Rs.300 million for Electrification Schemes in District Kohat but no fund was released for the projects.
