
Pakistan Needs Progress Not Protest: Ranjha

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 15th Augst,2016) : Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting,Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha has condemned the futile protests staged by Dr.
Tahir ul Qadri and Imran Khan,saying that Pakistan needed progress and prosperity rather than protests and 'dharnas'. Addressing the inaugural ceremony of construction of concrete canal at village Naseer pur Tehsil Kotmomin on Monday with the estimated amount of Rs.
41.8 million he said that the opposition parties should support Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in the completion of mega development projects rather than creating hindrance. Ranjha said that because of the balanced policies of the government of PML-N the soft image of Pakistan has been promoted at international level, adding that foreign investors were taking keen interest in starting development projects in the country.
He said that with the completion of aforementioned canal about 6000 acres of land will be irrigated easily whereas farmers of seven villages would benefit from it.
He said that the opposition wanted to stop the sequence of progress and prosperity by staging futile protests and dharnas in the name of corruption. He further said that under the direction Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif basic facilities like education, health and power supply would be provided to people of remote areas on priority basis. Local leaders of PML-N including Haji Liaquat Ali Ranjha, Bukhtiar Ahmad, Haji Atta Muhammad, Makhdoom Muhammad Haroon also addressed the ceremony.
