Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST) has announced support for the candidate of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) Naheed Khan who is contesting from NA 225 constituency in Hyderabad.
HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jul, 2018 ) :Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST) has announced support for the candidate of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) Naheed Khan who is contesting from NA 225 constituency in Hyderabad.
At a press conference here on Friday, Naheed Khan expressed gratitude for PST and other political parties which had supported her candidacy. She criticized Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for having allegedly morphed into Zardari league and for forsaking the obligation of serving the poor and weak people. Khan, who was a close aide of PPP's chairperson and former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, demanded that an inquiry should be conducted against Zardari for his alleged corruption.
"Zardari is deceiving the nation by hiding behind Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who is being made to appear as the PPP's leader even though the real authority is in the hands of Zardari,"Ms Naheed.Khan said the people of Pakistan had the weapon of vote in their hands through which they could defeat the politicians who failed to serve them or those who were involved in corruption. She also criticized Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) for betraying the GDA."The GDA didn't field any candidate against PTI. But PTI has given tickets to the candidates to contest in 70 Constituencies in Sindh where the GDA's candidates are also contesting," she claimed.
