
PAL To Start Series Of Workshops From Wednesday

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th August, 2016) : Pakistan academy of Letters (PAL) would organize an inaugural ceremony to start four, three-day training workshops for the young writers, and poets.
The workshops would start from August 10. The inaugural ceremony of series of four, training workshops would be held on Wednesday. The first training workshop would be held on fiction writing from August 10 to 12, that would be conducted by M.hameed Khalid, Chairman PAL Prof.
Dr. Mohammad Qasim Bughio told APP here. He said that the second, three-day workshop would start from August 17 on the topic of poetry. The workshop would be conducted by Ahsan Akber Similarly, the third, training workshop would be organized on Television drama from August 24 to 26, that would be conducted by Shoaib Khalid.
He said that fourth workshop would be held on the topic of children literature from August 31 to September 2. The participation in the workshops will be free of cost and participants can acquire accommodation facility at writers house.
However, the Academy would not pay the expenses of accommodation and meals, he said. On the completion of training workshops, certificates would also be distributed among participants. During workshops, renowned scholars and writers would deliver lectures, he said.
