Parks And Horticulture Authority Likely To Receive Pending Funds

Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) likely to receive pending non-development funds of Rs 300 millions for the year 2018-19 soon for the payment of salaries and pensions of the PHA employees.

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Nov, 2018 ) :Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) likely to receive pending non-development funds of Rs 300 millions for the year 2018-19 soon for the payment of salaries and pensions of the PHA employees.

PHA spokesman Jalaluddin while talking to APP here on Friday told that number of requisitions had sent to the concerned department for the release of funds from the last four months.Notification for releasing funds would be issued in coming two to three days, sources added.

He said PHA administration was paying salaries and pensions to its 700 above employees and 55 pensioners from department's own resources from the last four months.

On the other hand, as many as 12000 gull-e-dawoodi flowers were prepared in the PHA's nursery and these would be displayed in the first week of December at different parks and other points of the city.

The preparation of 12000 flower-pots were in process and would be completed before the end of the current month.

He said that Chairman PHA Ejaz Hussain Janjua directed PHA administration to ensure foolproof security arrangements at parks.

However, work would be started after appointment of new Director General PHA Multan.
