People Of Chitral Laud PM's Development Package

CHITRAL, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News -7th Sept,2016) : People of Chitral Wednesday lauded the development package announced by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and termed it highly inclusive and goal-oriented.
They said the Prime Minister had won hearts and minds of thousands of people as the package would improve their socio-economic condition. PML-N Chitral President Saeed Ahmed Khan said by announcing to establish Chitral University, the Prime Minister had fulfilled the long-awaited demand of the local people.
He said most of the poor students, especially girls, had to leave their education incomplete due to the absence of a public sector university in Chitral. Now they would be able to complete their education, he added.
Similarly, time and money of others who had to go to Islamabad, Peshawar, and other cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for getting higher education, would also be saved, he added. Saeed said the people of Chitral loved the Prime Minister from the core of their hearts because he also kept them very close to his heart.
Nawaz Sharif, he said, was the only prime minister who visited Chitral four times which reflected his sincerity, love and affection for the local people. He said the extension and repair of 25 kilometer Boni Bozand Kor Road costing Rs 1.
1 billion inaugurated by the Prime Minister today would provide better communication facilities in the area.
Similarly, the sustainable development programme announced by the Prime Minister for Chitral and Shangla today would expedite pace of development, besides provision of better communication facilities to the people, he added.
Boni Road to be reapired under the Federal government's annual developmen programme, would help provide better communication facilities besides easy excess to markets to the Chitralis, he added.
Nadir Chitrali, a social worker, welcomed the Prime Minister's announcement for setting up a university and a 250-bed hospital, besides construction of several road links in Chitral. The projects would bring revolution in education and health sectors in Chitral, he added.
He said the work on Lawari Tunnel project was expedited due to keen interest taken by the Prime Minister. The tunnel after completion, would help provide better travelling facilities to the people, besides generating economic activities in the northern district of KP.
District Nazim Chitral Marafat Khan also hailed the Prime Minister's announcement of Rs 200 million grant for the District Council Chitral, saying it would help accelerate development activities in the district.
