Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Sami Ullah Khan has won PP-144 with 45525 votes.
Lahore (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Sami Ullah Khan has won PP-144 with 45525 votes. According to the results announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate won in PP-144 Lahore-I constituency with 45525 votes.
In 2013 general elections, Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Rao akhtar was elected as Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) with 64113 votes. The second runner up was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Mian Hamid Miraj who got 22827 votes.
At least 23 candidates from different political parties and independent candidates contested in PP-144. In 2013 elections, there were 179150 voters registered in PP-144, out of which 93093 votes were polled out.
In 2013 elections, the voter turn-out from this constituency was recorded as 51.96 %. Detailed results can be found here
