Prime Minister To Perform Groundbreaking Of Mohmand Dam On May 2: Faisal Vawda

Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda said Tuesday the much-awaited groundbreaking of Mohmand Dam would be performed by Prime Minister Imran Khan on May 2
Talking to a private news channel, he said in this regard an invitation had also been sent to former chief justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar.
He said the project was being constructed on Swat River in Mohmand district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and was scheduled to be completed in five years and eight months.
Faisal said this would be the first gorundbreaking ceremony of any dam in the country after 54 years as last dam was constructed in 1961.
To a question on economy, the minister said new economic team of the prime minister was taking effective measures to bring the deteriorated economy of the country on track.
He said a policy for ease of doing business was being framed and after its completion a number of employment opportunities would surface in the country.
The government was also committed to provide conducive environment for investment to investors, he added.
Vawda said the incumbent government of Prime Minister Imran Khan was taking many initiatives to uplift the living standard of poor masses and improving the deteriorated economy of the country.
PML-N even did not construct a single international standard hospital in the country where itsleaders could be treated, he added.
