PTI Govt Committed To Wipe Out Corruption: Fatyana

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Dec, 2018 ) :Member National Assembly (MNA), of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI), government, Riaz Fatyana on Friday said that present government was committed to eliminate corruption from the country.
Those elements having corruption charges must be given punishment according to country's law, he stated while talking to a private news channel.
The corruption had been a big issue of any government, he stated. He added that there was need to amend laws in national accountability bureau. The MNA said that changing NAB laws, we can achieve progress from any institution of the country.
The people had voted for PTI government for wiping out corruption, he said. Riaz Fatyana said that there was need to focus on improving laws rather to take action against any political figure.
To a question about national reconciliation ordinance (NRO), he said that the government could not give NRO to any party or political party member. Appreciating the role of the Supreme Court, he said that the apex court had played vital role in making corruption free society.
In reply to a question he said the concerned quarters should streamline the system besides launch work for capacity building of institutions dealing with investigation, prosecution etc. So that due results could be achieved in a befitting manner. No country or nation could make any progress without flushing out corruption.
To a question he said the past governments had been using the NAB for their personal interest.
Expressing concerns over the poor performance of anti-corruption establishment department , he said provinces could not achieve the progress in their respective jurisdiction due to political influence.
He added that due to lack of interest or weak policies in anti-corruption establishment department, the last governments had to establish an institution of NAB.
He said that NAB was working independently after introducing a vibrant policies of PTI government.
