PU reviews security arrangements

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th August, 2016) : Punjab University Acting Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Shahid Kamal on Saturday directed the officials concerned to further improve and beef up security at university premises. He issued the directions while chairing a meeting to review security arrangements at VC office committee room.

Registrar Prof Dr Liaqat Ali, Advisor to VC Col (r) Ikramullah Khan, Chairman Hall Council Prof Dr Abid Hussain Choudhary, Resident Officer-II Malik Muhammad Zahir, Deputy Director Students Affairs Zubair Akram, Chief Engineer Jamil Ahmad and Chief Security Officer Col (r) Muhammad Ubaid Masood were present.

Resident Officer-I Dr Sajid Rashid Ahmad briefed the meeting about the university's security situation while Acting VC Dr Shahid Kamal instructed the authorities concerned to improve security.
