Says no anchor will be safe when PTI is in power, not even their own mouthpieces.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 23rd July, 2018) Reham Khan, the ex-wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, has spoken up about the media censorship.
In a tweet on Monday, Reham said that no anchor will be safe when PTI is in power, not even their own mouthpieces.
She said that they will feed lie to the people on tv and social media. Calling it a fascist regime, she said that facts and evidence mean nothing in such a government.
Reham warned that today, it’s her and tomorrow it can be our wife and daughter.
“With PTI in power no anchor will be safe not even their own mouthpieces. They will cook up a lie & feed it to everyone on TV & SM. Facts & evidence mean nothing in a fascist regime. Today it's me. Tomorrow it will be your wife & daughter. Mark my words,” she wrote in her tweet.
Earlier, journalist Umar Cheema tweeted, "Today, three foreign publications (The Economist, Wall Street Journals and Los Angeles Times) have reported on mass scale rigging being done, what they allege, to ensure victory of PTI.
Two day ago, Financial Times declared it the "dirtiest election" of Pakistan."
To this, Reham had said in her sarcastic comment that all these publications are wrong. Only certified Sadiq and Ameen are honest.
The much-awaited biography of Reham Khan, the ex-wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, is finally out.
The book's Kindle version is now available on Amazon.com. The book is priced at $9.99 on Amazon and can be read online.
Reham has written in detail about the time she spent as Imran’s wife and has also written about several of Imran’s close aides.
