Strict Action To Be Taken Against Kite Manufacturers, Flyers: DIG Operations

LAHORE, Jan 9 (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 09th Jan, 2017 ) : DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf on Monday said strict action would be taken against kite manufacturers and flyers. Talking to APP, the DIG Operations said crackdown against kite manufacturers and flyers would be intensified to avoid any loss of life as many people had lost their life due to kite string in the past.
Haider Ashraf said he had sought report from all SPs of the city regarding kite flying, adding he had also directed to enhance patrolling on Saturdays and Sundays. He said legal action would be taken against the law violators. Meanwhile, he said police officers concerned would be held responsible in case of kite flying in any area.
