DERA GHAZI KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jan, 2018 ) :Punjab government started providing training to union council chairmen, vice chairmen and secretaries for effective running of different affairs including development, financial and administration.
The ceremonies were attended by chairmen, vice chairmen and secretaries of union councils of tehsil Chutta held here on Monday. Director General Local Government Javed Mehmood Bhatti said development work costing Rs 2.5 million was in progress in every union council.
He directed officials to ensure timely completion of the projects. Javed Bhatti stated that matters pertaining to union councils must be resolved on time. Deputy commissioner Muhammad Ibrahim Junaid also spoke and informed that the trained UC chairman, vice chairmen and secretaries would perform in a better way after getting training.
On this occasion, deputy director local government Malik Muhammad Ramzan and Assistant Commissioner Abdul Jabbar and others were also present.
