
Transporters Withdraw Strike Call

HYDERABAD,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Augst,2016) : Sindh Bus Owners Association and Karachi Transport Ittehad have withdrawn their call for a province-wide strike of transport on August 17 after Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) took notice of their complaint.
According to a press release issued here after a meeting, the two organisations expressed gratitude for OGRA for taking notice of their complaint against the CNG filling stations. Their office-bearers appreciated OGRA for stopping the sale of CNG fuel in liters and restoring its sale in kilograms which was earlier changed by the CNG stations in the province. Association's president Mir Afzal Khan and Ittehad's president Irshad Shah Bukhari said the strike had been withdrawn after OGRA took notice of their complaint and immediately stopped the sale of CNG in liters.
