World Day Of Social Justice To Be Observed On Feb 20

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Feb, 2018 ) :Like other parts of the world, the United Nations'(UN) World Day of Social Justice will be observed on February 20, 2017 in Pakistan to encourage people to look at how social justice affects poverty eradication.

To mark the Day, schools, colleges and universities would also arranged various programs and activities revolving around a subject connected to poverty, social ,economic and unemployment. Talking to APP here on Friday, Advocate & Chairman District Hindu Panchayat M.Parkash Mathani said that the observance of world day of Social Justice was aimed to support efforts of the international community in poverty eradication, the promotion of full employment and decent work and gender equity.

He said that the day aims to improve social equity and the wellbeing of people living around the world. He informed that on the Social Justice day different legal organizations including the Hyderabad Bar Association will arrange seminars and various programmes to highlight the importance of social justice for people.
