Anupam Kher Calls Sonali Bendre His ‘hero’

Anupam Kher met Sonali Bendre and spent ‘some quality time’ with the actress.
Islamabad (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 13th August, 2018) Bollywood actor Anupam Kher visited Sonali Bendre, who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer in New York.
Anupam Kher took to Twitter on Sunday revealing that he met Sonali Bendre and spent ‘some quality time’ with the actress.
"I have done few films with Sonali Bendre. We've met socially many times in Mumbai. She always has been bright and a very warm person. But it is only in the last 15 days that I got the opportunity to spend some quality time with her in New York. And I can easily say, "She is my hero”, he wrote.
Anupam Kher is currently in New York, shooting for New Amsterdam - a medical drama series. Anupam Kher and Sonali Bendre had co-starred in films like Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Haiand Dil Hi Dil Mein.
Sonali had on July 4 revealed about her diagnosis and said that she is taking the battle head on.
As the actor shared the news on her social media handles, love and best wishes for her speedy recovery started pouring in from friends, fans and colleagues.
Sonali’s husband Goldie Behl recently took to Twitter and informed that she is stable and following her treatment.
“Thank you all for the love and support for Sonali... she is stable and is following her treatment without any complications. This is a long journey but we have begun positively," Behl wrote.
Sonali is famous for her roles in films like Hum Saath Saath Hain, Sarfarosh and Kal Ho Na Ho.
