Pashto Actress Neelam Gul Alleges Husband Of Domestic Abuse

Says he has been torturing her for seven years

Peshawar (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 3rd August, 2018) Pashto actress and singer Neelam Gul has alleged her husband of beating and abusing her.

In a video going viral on social media, Neelam Gul said that her husband has put her in this miserable condition.

“My condition is due to my husband. He has been torturing me for seven years,” she said in Pashtu.

The Pashtu singer and actress also alleged her husband of forcing her into doing wrongful things. She said that her brother-in-law also beats her.

Neelam Gul demanded justice for herself against this domestic abuse.

Earlier on Thursday, Pashto stage actress and singer Reshma was allegedly shot dead by her husband over domestic dispute in Nowshera district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

Police sources said that Reshma was living at her parents’ home in Nowshera due to differences with her husband.

Reshma’s brother, Obaidullah, lodged an FIR with the police and accused her husband Faida Khan of the murder.

According to the FIR, Faida, who was working abroad, had recently returned to the country. He went to his in-laws’ place on Wednesday to convince his wife to return home.

Upon refusal, infuriated Faida opened fire at his wife, killing her on the spot.
