Deputy Commissioner Khyber Green Beat Khurram Shaheen By 2-1 In 2nd Tabdeele Football Cup

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Khyber Green advanced to next round after securing victories against Khurram Shaheen in the ongoing 2nd Tabdeele Football Cup being played here at Tehmas Khan Football Stadium on Friday
District Nazim Peshawar Muhammad Asim Khan was the chief guest on this occasion and before the start of the match the players of both DC Khyber Green and Khurram Shaheen of Parachinar, Kurram District were introduced to him.
Nazim Peshawar Muhammad Asim Khan lauded the efforts of the organizing committee, specially Chairman Organizing Committee Shahid Khan Shinwari for holding the Cup wherein top 13 teams from all across Pakistan are taking part.
He said the government is very keen to have such like activities so that the youth and specially the youth who have the talent to come and exhibit their hidden talent.
He said District government has clear directives to District Sports Officer Jamshed Baloch to hold as much activities as he can so that to bring the youth to healthy sports activities.
He said the district government would hold a grand sports festival besides other activities for the youth. He said the youth are the future builder of the nation and sports activities are vital for them to have good mentally and physically.
In his welcome address Shahid Khan Shinwari assured District Nazim that such like healthy activities would be continue supporting so that the talented youth could find a platform to show their hidden talent.
Later, the match was started on fast tempo and soon Khurram Shaheed of Parachinar, Khurram Agency took the lead in the very outset of the match.
Deputy Commissioner Khyber Green and Khurram Shaheen played well against each other and made some good rallies of attack which were largely enjoyed by capacity crowd present on this occasion.
This was right winger Shahid who travelled past three defenders before reaching in the danger zone and netted a fine goal.
After taking lead, Khurram Shaheen put in more pressure to double the lead and they got some easy goal scoring chances but the front-line featuring Shaheen, Javed, Imtiaz, Irfan, Haris and Wajid were failed to double the lead.
On the other hand, DC Khyber Green managed their position according to the situation and started making some fine moves as a result it was in the 19th minute when DC Khyber Green succeeded in leveling the tally 1-1 through left winger Shaheen Khan.
At half-time both teams were locked 1-1. It was the second session in which DC Khyber Green fully dominated the proceedings and gave no room to Khurram Shaheen to strike back.
It was the in the 67th minute when DC Khyber Green scored another goal on the field attempt when Shaheen, the left winger, scored his second goal through field attempt.
Khurram Shaheen also tried their hard to level the tally 2-2 but failed to click and thus DC Khyber Green won the match by 2-1. Abdur Rehman, Ikram Ullah, Zakir and Abid supervised the match while Syed Imtiaz Ali Shah acted as match commissioner.
