Iftikhar's Unbeaten Ton Powers Punjab To Empathic Win Against Federal Area

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2019 ) :Iftikhar Ahmad scored a blazing century to power Punjab to a seven-wicket win against Federal Area in the Pakistan Cup One-Day cricket at the Pindi Stadium, Rawalpindi on late Monday.
Chasing 322, Punjab reached the target in the 47th over courtesy to splendid hitting by Iftikhar, who hammered six towers sixes and eight fours in his 89-ball unbeaten 109 knock.
Saad Ali was another main contributor for Punjab as he scored 76 not out off 50 balls. Saad and Iftikhar put on unbroken 145 runs on board for the 4th wicket stand. Sami Aslam also batted well as he scored 81 runs.
Earlier, Punjab's Waleed Ahmad captured 4 for 59 runs.
