The ITF Pakistan J7 World Juniors Tennis Championships leg-2 continued here at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex on Wednesday
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Nov, 2022 ) :The ITF Pakistan J7 World Juniors Tennis Championships leg-2 continued here at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex on Wednesday.
Tariq Mahmood Murtaza President-Islamabad Tennis Association (ITA) and Chairman Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) was the chief guest at the opening ceremony, which was attended by a large number of participants and tennis lovers. He interacted with the players, their parents and the coaches.
He welcomed the participants from abroad and also showed satisfaction over the arrangements which were in place for the conduct of the event including the provision of security by Islamabad Police.
In Boys Singles 2nd Round, Imran Khatibev (UZB) beqt Penn Charusorn (THA) 7-5,3-0-Retd; Zaidh Zihar (SRI) beat Aryan Giri (NEP) 7-5,7-6(2); Bugra Ozkoc (TUR) beat Bilal Asim(PAK) 6-2,1-6,6-3; Amir Asylkozhaev (RUS) beat Matthew Goh (MAS) 6-1,6-4; Sami Zeb Khan(PAK) beat Ibrahim Furkan Deniz(TUR) 6-2,6-3.
In Girls Singles 2nd Round, Melissa Jangarashva (KAZ) beat Natalia Zaman (PAK) 6-2,6-0; Polina Kaibekova(RUS) beat Fatima Ali Raja6-0,6-0; Deren Ozel (TUR) beqt Soha Ali (PAK) 6-0,6-0; Zainab Ali Naqvi (PAK) beat Thaniya Sarai (IND) 6-2,6-0; Lia Belibova (MDA) beat Madina Omarova(KAZ) 6-4,7-5.
