Katlang Club Mardan Secure Win In 8th Right To Play Soccer

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Nov, 2016 ) : Katland Club Mardan secured 5-0 victory against Rushtum Club in the ongoing 8th Right to Play District Mardan Inter-Club Football Championship being played at Younis Stadium Mardan on Friday.
International football player Muhammad Zahir of National Bank was the chief guest on this occasion and before the start of the match the players of both Katlang and Rustum Clubs were introduced to him.
Organizing Secretary Chairman DFA Ali Gohar and large number of spectators witnessed the thrill-packed match. Katland club opened the account in the 5th minute when right winger Atta Ullah netted a fine goal on the very first attack and 10-minute later center striker Naqib Shah doubled the lead through field attempt.
At half time Katlang was leading by 2-0. Rustum Club after conceding two goals and managed their position to reduce the margin but Rustum club forwards failed to click due to poor finishing.
It was the second session in which Katlang club fully dominated the proceedings and did not give much time to Rustum Club to strike back.
Suleman, Shehzad and Talha scored one goal each in the 56th, 77th and 79th minute to make the tally 5-0. Thus Katlang won the match by 5-0. In the second match Amazai Club beat Ghari Kapora Club on penalty shoot-out before the two played a 1-1 draw in the stipulated 70-minute time.
For Amazai Club Murad guided team to a goal lead but Rizwan tied the tally 1-1. When both the teams were tied 1-1, the teams were awarded five penalty kicks each on which Amazai club won the match by 6-5. Ali Rehman, Usman and Arsalan supervised the match while Khair Ul Amin acted as match commissioner.
