PHF Shortlists U21 Hockey Players

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 07th Oct, 2016 ) -Pakistan Hockey Federation here on Friday announced the Names of 26 shortlisted U21 players to attend the final phase of the camp training for the participation of the team in Sultan of Johor Cup being played from October 31 in Johor Baru, Malaysia.

Originally 35 boys were selected, who have been going through the training since September 22 and now their number have been reduced with the approval of the national selection committee headed by Abdul rasheed Junior, said a spokesman of PHF.

The camp will commence again on October 14 under the supervision of the head coach, Tahir Zaman. Prior to the camp, these short listed 26 boys will be considered for the 3-Match series between the national junior probables against the national senior probables.

These matches are to be played from October 8-10 in Lahore.
