RT Says Ruptly Video Agency Had 2nd Most YouTube Views Among German Media In February

"The Ruptly video agency, which is part of RT tv network, ranked second among German news media outlets in terms of YouTube video views in February. According to analytics platform Tubular Labs, videos of the Russian agency received over 14 million views, which is 2 million more than what it's closest competitor, SPIEGEL TV, got," the statement read.

RT stressed that Ruptly made it to Germany's top five media outlets in terms of total number of views in major social networks, outpacing SPIEGEL TV, Welt Video & TV and Bild.

"Every social network has its unique format, that is why we try to provide the widest range of video content.

The live broadcasts play a specific role. For this purpose, we have created a special platform, Ruptly Live, which enables our clients to watch our lives [live broadcasts] in social networks by making just three clicks," Ruptly CEO Dinara Toktosunova said, as quoted in the RT statement.

It was revealed earlier in March that Ruptly had won a gold German Stevie Award for the best "video platform for media and publishers" in the new products category for its Ruptly Live platform. The awards ceremony will be held in Munich on May 3.

Ruptly, created in 2013, has been named Best B2B News Site of 2017 and Best Commercial Team of 2018 by the prestigious Drum Online Media Awards. Ruptly Live has been commended by the ceremony's organizers as the Technical Innovation of The Year.
