At Least 25 Turkish Soldiers Hurt In Ordnance Blast - Defense Ministry

ANKARA (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 10th November, 2018) At least 25 Turkish soldiers were injured after ordnance went off at a base in the Hakkari province, the Turkish Defense Ministry said Friday.
"An accident occurred at one of our bases in Hakkari, which is believed to be the result of firing of heavy weapon ordnance.
The 25 injured were promptly hospitalized. Efforts continue to find the seven missing soldiers," it said in a statement.
An investigation has been opened into the accident. The administration of the southeastern Hakkari province suggested in a statement the explosion was caused by faulty ordnance.
