MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 19th November, 2018) The exhibition, dedicated to the love story of Spanish painter Pablo Picasso and his wife, the Russian ballet dancer Olga Khokhlova, will open at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow on Tuesday.

The exhibition, organized jointly with the National Picasso Museum in Paris and the Almine and Bernard Ruiz-Picasso Foundation for Art (FABA) in Madrid, will feature over 200 items, including Picasso's paintings, letters, and photos from the great artist's family archives.

"This is the special project, dedicated to Picasso's life with his wife Olga Khokhlova, the painter's Russian story with a wonderful beginning, drama ... and, to some extent, a sad ending," Marina Loshak, the director of the Pushkin museum, said at a media preview of the exhibition.

The first exhibition "Olga Picasso," devoted to Picasso and Khokhlova, was held at the National Picasso Museum in Paris last year.

The exhibition at the Pushkin museum will close on February 3.
