MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 15th October, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed to sign the Russia-Egypt treaty on comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation at the highest level, according to the decree released on Monday.

On Thursday, the Kremlin press service announced that Putin would meet with Egyptian leader Abdel Fattah Sisi in Sochi on October 17 to discuss a further boost in bilateral cooperation.

"To accept the proposal of the Russian Foreign Ministry, agreed with the relevant Federal executive authorities, on the signing of the treaty on comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Arab Republic of Egypt. To consider it feasible to sign the treaty, provided for by this decree, at the highest level," the document read.
