US Defense Secretary James Mattis hopes for an opportunity to continue dialogue with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, US National Security Adviser John Bolton said on Tuesday.
MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 23rd October, 2018) US Defense Secretary James Mattis hopes for an opportunity to continue dialogue with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, US National Security Adviser John Bolton said on Tuesday.
The presidential adviser conveyed the greeting from the US defense chief, thanking Shoigu for an opportunity to hold talks in Moscow.
Bolton added that US officials were tasked with broadening and enhancing bilateral dialogue after the US-Russia summit in Helsinki, noting that he was pleased to be able to visit Moscow to accomplish this task.
