University Of Veterinary And Animal Sciences Vice-Chancellor Lahore Inaugurates Newly Established Block At CVAS Jhang

The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha visited UVAS sub campus, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences CVAS, Jhang on Monday.
LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Mar, 2018 ) :The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha visited UVAS sub campus, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences CVAS, Jhang on Monday.
During his visit, the Vice-Chancellor inaugurated state of the art newly established block consists of Principal office, library, Auditorium and Teacher Student Center with all latest necessary facilities.
Principle CVAS Jhang Prof Dr Abdul Shakoor, Prof.Dr Muhammad Fiaz Qamar, Project Director Shahnawaz Bukhari and many faculty members were present on the occasion. Prof Pasha presided over the meeting and discussed different issues related with teaching and research.
He stressed the need of conducting public awareness seminars to counteract misconception about poultry and poultry feed.
He emphasized the need of widening institutional external linkages with industry and provision of outreach services to livestock farmers in term of diagnostic and therapeutic facilities.
He also directed the faculty members to submit research projects as a key for the development and ranking of any educational institution. They discussed about co-curricular activities, initiation of new undergraduate degree program, civil work and plantation.
The Vice-Chancellor agreed to provide his full support for the uplift of veterinary profession and livestock sector in Pakistan. Moreover, for the promotion of greenery at CVAS Jhang, Dr Pasha also planted a sapling in front of auditorium. Later, a detailed meeting held with CVAS faculty members.
