ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Jan, 2018 ) :Senator Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Lt General (Retd), Abdul Qayyum on Monday said Gwadar would be the game changer for Pakistan.
Some elements and countries had reservation over the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and they wanted to rollback this gigantic project, he said talking to a news channel. The CPEC would benefit the people of this region, he added.
Commenting on Senate elections, he said they would be held according to election commission schedule. People would vote Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), on the basis of performance in next elections, he added.
To a question, he said some undemocratic elements had entered into the politics for clinching 2018 elections. The senator said those elements which had used derogatory language against the Parliament were also involved in attacking state television and national institutions.
He said people would give votes to those party leaders and candidates who had performed well in their provinces. Lt General (R) Abdul Qayyum said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, was a popular party while Nawaz Sharif was the most popular leader in the country.
