Hong Kong And Shanghai Stocks Up By Lunch

HONG KONG,(UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Augst,2016) - Hong Kong stocks jumped by the break on Thursday after minutes from the US central bank's last meeting showed policymakers were cautious about an imminent interest rate hike. The Hang Seng Index climbed 1.
6 percent, or 364.91 points, to 23,164.69. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.41 percent, or 12.61 points, to 3,122.16 while the Shenzhen Composite Index rose 0.29 percent, or 5.86 points, to 2,049.13.
