Shipping Activity At Port Qasim 12 Nov 2018

Four ships, YM Miranda, White Purl, Maritime Jingan and Zefyros carrying Chemicals, LPG, Palm Oil and Diesel Oil were arranged berthing at Multi-Purpose Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal and FOTCO Oil Terminal respectively on Sunday.

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Nov, 2018 ) :Four ships, YM Miranda, White Purl, Maritime Jingan and Zefyros carrying Chemicals, LPG, Palm Oil and Diesel Oil were arranged berthing at Multi-Purpose Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal and FOTCO Oil Terminal respectively on Sunday.

Meanwhile three more ships, Rita Ocean, Sheila and UACC Strait carrying Coal, Soya Bean Seeds and Diesel oil also arrive at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24hours.

A total of ten ships are currently occupying PQA berths to load/offload containers, coal soy a bean seeds, chemicals, general cargo LPG, LNG Palm oil and Diesel oil respectively. Out of ten, two ships namely, Zanta and Solaris sailed out t o sea on today morning, while four more ships CMA CGM Butterfly, Epic Tetus, Shandong and Zefyros are expected to sail on same day in the afternoon.

Cargo handling remained smoothly at the port where a cargo volume of 167,155 tonnes comprising 121,289 tonnes import cargo and 45,866 tonnes export cargo inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 3,782 containers (TEUs), (1,368 TEUs imports and 2,414 TEUs exports ) was handled during last 24 hours.

Two ships, Medi Masura and Sheila carrying Soya Bean seeds and Coal are expected to take berths at FA and PIBT respectively on Monday,while three more ships APL Miami, MSC Heidi and Maersk Kensington with containers, are due to arrive at Port qasim on Tuesday.
