Thai Companies Show Interest In Arctic LNG 2 Project - Russian Energy Ministry

Thai businesses are considering the possibility of participating in the Arctic LNG 2 project, the Russian Energy Ministry said after a meeting of the joint Russian-Thai working group on cooperation in the energy sector.

MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik - 07th December, 2018) Thai businesses are considering the possibility of participating in the Arctic LNG 2 project, the Russian Energy Ministry said after a meeting of the joint Russian-Thai working group on cooperation in the energy sector.

According to the ministry, officials from of Thai companies expressed interest in working together with Russian companies Novatek, Rosneft and Gazprom Neft.

"In particular, Thai businessmen are considering the possibility of joining the Arctic LNG-2 project," the ministry said in a statement.

The Arctic LNG 2 project is being developed by Russia's largest independent natural gas producer Novatek.
