Tokyo's Nikkei Index Rebounds On Weaker Yen

TOKYO, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Augst,2016) - Tokyo's benchmark stock index rebounded on Thursday, booking its first gain in three days as a weaker Yen and bargain-hunting lifted the market. The Nikkei 225 index soared 1.07 percent, or 171.78 points, to close at 16,254.89, after fluctuating between positive and negative territory throughout the day. The broader Topix index of all first-section shares tacked on 0.87 percent, or 11.01 points, to end at 1,282.99.
