Bahauddin Zakariya University Grows Around 4,000 Maund Wheat

Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) has grown a bumper crop of wheat this year under the supervision of farm management committee which was tasked the job first time by varsity administration

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th May, 2018 ) :Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) has grown a bumper crop of wheat this year under the supervision of farm management committee which was tasked the job first time by varsity administration.

Around 4,000 maunds wheat will be disbursed among varsity's employees who would pay in instalments for it.

Addressing a ceremony in this connection on Wednesday, BZU VC Dr Tahir Amin said he was delighted to see the bumper crop.

Briefing on this occasion, BZU farm Manager, Dr Ehsan Qadir said that his team worked day and night to get the crop. He informed that with minimum expenditure, they had been able to cultivate the crop.

He said that it was first time farm management committee had tasked with the job which it had done with diligence. BZU Registrar, Dr Omer Chaudhary, RO, Dr Muqarrab, Dr Riaz, Dr Nazim Labar and others attended the ceremony.
