Govt Focusing To Promote Education In Pakistan:Ahsan Iqbal

Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal Wednesday said the government had been focusing to promote education in the country and a lot of contributions were made in that regard.
ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2018 ) :Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms Ahsan Iqbal Wednesday said the government had been focusing to promote education in the country and a lot of contributions were made in that regard.
Talking to a private news channel, he said huge increase was made in budget of Higher Education Commission and was taken to Rs 47 billion from Rs 12 billion in five years of the present government.
He said the standard of education had been raised in the universities as a result of measures taken by the incumbent government.
The minister said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was a game changer project, however peace, stability and harmony was imperative to accomplish the project in the country.
He said highly qualified academic persons were being appointed in educational institutions and respect should also be given to them as they were serving the country. To a question, Ahsan Iqbal said he had been serving the people with commitment and dignity for whole life as he was well wisher of the country.
