Skilled Manpower Imperative For Development, Prosperity: Vice Chancellor University Of Agriculture Faisalabad

He was addressing the oath taking ceremony of Agrarian Society of the Faculty of Agriculture here Friday.

Dean Faculty of Agriculture Dr Asif Tanvir, Director Students Affair Dr Shahbaz Talib, Chief Hall Warden Dr Amjad Aulak, newly elected president of Agrarian Society Muhammad Irfan and Secretary Ahmad Mukhtar also spoke on the occasion.

The Vice-chancellor stressed upon students to develop a strong friendship with books that will enable them to get prosperity.

He said the book reading culture is on the decline in the society that is an area of serious concern.

"We have to prepare skilled manpower to fight the challenges of the modern era and compete withthe rest of the world," he said.
