Commissioner Hyderabad Claims Revolutionary Steps In Health Sector

The Sindh Government has initiated revolutionary steps for promotion of health sector even the people were getting free of cost medical treatment of cardio vascular diseases at their nearest in Hyderabad Division, said commissioner Hyderabad, Saeed Ahmed Mangnejo.
HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Feb, 2018 ) :The Sindh Government has initiated revolutionary steps for promotion of health sector even the people were getting free of cost medical treatment of cardio vascular diseases at their nearest in Hyderabad Division, said commissioner Hyderabad, Saeed Ahmed Mangnejo.
Briefing the 18 member delegation of 45th Common Training Programme of Civil Service academy Lahore here at Monday he claimed that the provincial government has established state of the art satellite centres of National Institute of Cardio Vascular Diseases (NICVD) at Hyderabad, Tando Muhammad Khan and Sehwan Town where the cardiac patients were getting treatment of modern methods free of cost.
Besides, 566 minor and major health centres have been engaged in providing medical treatment in all districts of Hyderabad division, he informed and added that as a result of effective strategy against Polio disease, no Polio case has been reported since 2016 in any part of the division.
The Commissioner informed the delegations that around ten thousand Primary and high schools, 59 colleges and five universities have been engaged in imparting knowledge to male and female students and recently, the provincial government has upgraded the historic Government College Kali Mori to the level of university.
Besides leading bangle industry, poultry and fish farming, loom industry, rice and flour mills, the Commissioner informed that 635 major industrial zones and 17 sugar mills of Hyderabad Division are also contributing due share of economy and industrial development of the country.
Hyderabad Division also possessed rich assets of culture and heritage which included historic Makli Graveyard, Shahjehan Masjid, Ranni Kot, Pacca Qila, Mukhi House, Tombs of Mirs and Kalhoras, Keenjhar and Manchar Lake, Gorakh Hill Station and mazars of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar and Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai.
The Hyderabad Division is also rich in natural resources and minerals reserves and has potential of investment in different sectors, he added. Among others, Additional Commission-I Muamar Salik Mirza and Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Hyderabad Shakil Abro also briefed the participants of the delegation.
