Health minister Dr. Hisham Inamullah Khan inaugurates new wards, pharmacy unit

Provincial minister for Health Dr. Hisham Inamullah Khan formally inaugurated new wards and pharmacy unit in a public sector hospital of Peshawar

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jan, 2019 ) :Provincial minister for Health Dr. Hisham Inamullah Khan formally inaugurated new wards and pharmacy unit in a public sector hospital of Peshawar.

During his visit to Government Naseerullah Khan Babar Memorial Hospital, Peshawar, he was accompanied by member's provincial assembly Haji Fazl-e-Ilahi, Malik Wajidullah Khan, District Nazim Peshawar, Asim Khan, Secretary Health Dr. Farooq Jameel and Health Advisor Dr. Jawad Wasif.

The health minister inspected different units of the hospital where hospital MS Dr. Siraj briefed them about health facilities being provided to the patients. The minister personally met the patients in different wards and inquired about the facilities and attitude of the staff. The patients lauded the hospital administration and staff.

Hospital MS told the minister that establishment of pharmacy department would help to ensure quality medicines inside the hospital.

He also presented some demands before the minister upon which Dr. Hisham Inamullah assured him provision of funds and to address other issues.

He said he will fully support the hospital administrations to minimize the problems of the patients coming to public sector hospital.

Meanwhile the health minister also visited Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar and inspected different units of the hospital.

Director HMC, Dr. Shahzad Akbar informed them about the ongoing projects in the hospital.

The minister told them to expedite construction work in the hospital, so as patients may not be suffered. Dr. Hisham Inamullah Khan directed the doctors and hospital administrations to focus on patient's healthcare and behave them politely that will reduce their sufferings.
