Medical Teaching Institute Khyber Teaching Hospital Completes Arrangement For 9th, 10th Muharram

Medical Teaching Institute Khyber Teaching Hospital (MTI-KTH) has arranged special arrangement and reserved 50 beds in connection 9th and 10th Muharram-ul-Haram.
PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Sep, 2018 ) :Medical Teaching Institute Khyber Teaching Hospital (MTI-KTH) has arranged special arrangement and reserved 50 beds in connection 9th and 10th Muharram-ul-Haram.
An emergency meeting regarding provision of emergency services during Ashura was held under the presidentship Medical Director Prof Dr Rooh-ul-Muqim and Hospital Director Dr Nek Dad Khan. The meeting was attended by principal managerial staff along with clinical unit and diagnostic incharges here on Wednesday.
The purpose of the meeting was to review and ensure disaster management plan of MTI KTH.
Special arrangements in connection to Ashura were discussed and concern departments were asked to ensure full services, availability of doctors, nurses, paramedics and supporting staff, stock of medicine with medical and surgical disposables, functioning CT, MRI, Xrays and ultrasound along with standby main and minor operation theaters.
Four medical teams along ambulances and drivers will be providing first aid treatment to the procession in Muharram.
Emergency control room number 091-9224281 is established in A&E department KTH which will be functional 24/7 under the supervision of the administration focal person Dr Farman and Clinical Focal person Dr Shehryar Noor.
